VSOP and AOC wines are produced by grapes, that grows in specific geographical limits, and by specific wine grape varieties.The amount of wine, that should be produced as a designation of origin, cannot be over several kilos per stremma.
These restrictions exist in order to keep the quality of the product high, and also this way the varieties and the vinification of every country can be protected and tested.
